NQT Performance Management Target Exemplar

This learning goal has been drafted to help the NQT focus on two pupils – Hannah and Tamer. By focusing on pupils the objective becomes more meaningful and relevant to the NQT and at the same time allows for measurable progress. Coaching and observation are provided for and there are regular feedback points to ensure that the NQT remains committed to the goal and believes that it is important to the organisation. No specific performance targets, e.g. improving assessment scores by x%, have been included as they are inappropriate for someone at this stage of their career.
